hand woven and Hand Embroidered by Tzotzil Mayan women of Chamula in the highlands of Chiapas Mexico.
This bag is
100% Wool
made from the wool of the sheep that these ladies raise in the highlands…. This piece was woven on a
back strap loom
with colorful embroidered patterns all over the front and the back side is plain.
It measures; 13 inches wide by 14 inches tall and the strap measures 59 inches long.
This is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk art, and is a very reasonable price for the amount of work that has gone into creating it!
